Experience driving a dump truck, hauling and a clean driving record is a plus. Pay rate will vary depending on experience and knowledge. Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting spaceĮnsure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, and blowtorches Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasksĬomplete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment Must have a Valid Driver's License (Required)Įxperience operating heavy machinery is a plus (Not Required) Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction required (technology, equipment, methods, craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, cost control, schedules, and safety) Įxcellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills essential. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and ExperienceĪ minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman in the heavy/highway construction trades Responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily work for various construction trade crews and coordinate all efforts with the supervisors on the project site. Previous construction experience required Must be able to work varying shifts, day, night and weekends, and be willing to work extended overtime hours Minimum two (2) years experience operating a 65 HP saw Valid driver's license for both a truck and trailer SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Green cutting of concrete pavement using a 65 HP saw with knowledge of when concrete is ready to be cutĭeep sawing of concrete and bituminous pavements Work with air tools, and assist other trades with performing their work duties Handle and place materials, lay pipe, tie rebar, and physically move items, materials, chemicals and tools at construction sites.
